For over 30 years we have been kayaking, exploring and coaching not only here in Austria but all over the world and it is this experience that we bring into our kayak courses, trips, guiding in expeditions.
Our Teams in-depth knowledge of the rivers where they teach and guide are second to none. We will find the right river at the ideal level, the right feature where you can work on your techniques while knowing that we are here to not just offer advice and encouragement but to be in a position where you feel safe and confident which is the perfect recipe for improvement and enjoyment.
We have a lot of returning kayakers that come back to work on their skills, be guided down our stunning rivers and enjoy their time with us on the rivers we love so much!
As we approach the beginning of March, the days begin to get lighter and the sun is now hitting our base. Though there is still snow outside Base Arlberg and we are hoping for more to fall in the next month, we are planning and getting ready for the upcoming Spring kayaking season here in Austria.
Firstly, bookings are looking good and we have already a few weeks booked out, so if you are looking at coming to kayak with us here in this beautiful part of Austria then it would be wise to get in touch early to avoid any disappointment, especially in July and August where we had to tell a record amount of people that we were fully booked!
Our equipment in the Kayak School is made by whitewater kayakers for whitewater kayakers!
We pride ourselves in our equipment and as we teach a modern, dynamic style of kayaking we require our equipment to fulfil this objective! The days of skidding out of an eddy using a paddle brace are luckily long gone. Being more proactive and gaining momentum means that with the use of an edge we can now carve and the feeling you get from this is amazing.
