Autumn 2018 at Base Camp Arlberg, Austria.
We had a golden Autumn with plenty of sunny days. The sky was a deep blue and certain trees full in their colourful best. Our 2019 dates have been published and certain courses are starting to fill up.

Summer 2018 at our home base in the Arlberg
And what a Summer it was! The weather was unbelievable, long hot sunny days with very little rain! While the higher tributaries were drying up, the Sanna was at a fantastic level giving us plenty of places to teach on, making some sweet moves and working on creeking techniques. The River Inn was just a dream to kayak with BIG waves, bouncy rapids and pretty much the river to ourselves made for some memorable days kayaking around our Home Base in the Arlberg Region.

The third Spring of 2018
Our third Spring of the year was back home at our base in the Arlberg, Austria. The snow was melting fast, the sun was out and the nature in the valley was coming to life! We had a good base of snow from the Winter and it was now feeding the rivers. The Rosanna had great levels and the Spring melt on the Sanna saw us with a very unusual 3 weeks of constant high water!

The year of 4 springs: the Indian Himalayas
The snow had been good at home in St. Anton am Arlberg, Austria and I had skied some deep powder and explored a new area earning my turns ski touring into some amazing powder bowls with Jakub, Stocki and Claudia. However, India was calling and I was about to experience Holi, the Festival of Colour.

An Indian Summer
Our final trip of 2017 was with Tom on the Alaknanda and Ganges River. It was mid-November and the mornings and evenings were getting chilly up in Shivanandi on the banks of the Alaknanda River. However, the days were sunny and the whitewater was still good!

Kumaon Kayak Road Trip
After a few days of resting and chilling out in Rishikesh we decided on returning to the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand. On our radar were a couple of rivers that we saw when driving over to the River Kali. So with Puran’s jeep loaded, Ute, Stanzin and myself headed up into the mountains, over a pass and finally down to the town of Bageshwar.

After finishing the Paddle Expo with Peak UK we packed up the Kayak School and headed to India. Our first trip was with Geoffrey and Seraina from Switzerland and we were heading to the Kali River to spend 5 days kayaking.

The height of Summer gave us some fantastic weather with deep blue skies and long sunny days. Our courses were in full swing and it was great to be out on the river cooling down. We have an abundance of Classic Alpine rivers for every level of kayaker right by our home and base in the Arlberg Region of Austria.

We arrived back home after a successful Kayak Adventure Trip to the Indian Himalayas with snow falling on the pass and a temperature plunge in the valley. The good news was that the rivers were up and our first course was about to start in the Alps.
